2024 Myrtle Beach Bowl Analysis
This year’s Myrtle Beach Bowl will pit the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers against the UTSA Roadrunners. Both of these teams went 6-6 this season and barely made it into bowl season despite plenty of ups and downs throughout the 2024 season. The question going into this game will be whether or not anyone can get stops on defense consistently enough to win this matchup from Myrtle Beach.
The other question going into this game is whether or not home-field advantage becomes a significant factor in favor of Coastal Carolina. The Chanticleers are playing in their home territory in this contest, which should at least in theory help them to get a win. But UTSA is more than capable of going on the road and taking care of business and it will be interesting to see whether the locals show up in of the Chanticleers to help them get over the hump as underdogs in this game.
